Sixty Six 40
Branding / Book Layout and Design

SIxty Six 40 was a student project created under the supervision of SCAD professor Rhonda Arntsen. The assignment was to use graphic design to address and change apathy towards a social issue we are passionate about. I chose to address Bible illiteracy and I created a version of the Bible formatted for easier reading targetated towards children. I bound each individual book of the Bible rather than presenting one large volume that can be very overwhelming. I also dropped all of the verse numbers and footnotes that could be distracting during a casual read and layed out the text with frequent resting places for the eye and treated the type for easy and smooth reading. I hope that one day I might get the opportunity to lay out the entire Bible in this way and have it published for the purpose making the Bible easier to read and more appealing.
