Duc De Berry Poster / Annimation

This short movie and poster were created for my Typography 2 class, winter quarter of 2009 at the Savannah College of Art and Design, under the instruction of professor Merrik Henry. The assignement was to create a poster to promote a font of our choice. I chose to use "Duc De Berry" by Godfried Pott created in 1990 for Adobe. The annimation features the song "His Voice" from the Angels and Ether collection that is featured in the gallery of this site.
Little nemo has a rich and fun history and I felt that its comicstrip origins would lend itself well to this kind of an animation project.
